RCL New RFL Service Far East Latin America

RCL, in collaboration with its partner, is pleased to announce the launch of a new direct service, RFL (RCL Far East-Latin America). This service will provide enhanced connectivity from China and Korea to Mexico.

The RFL service will operate with a rotation of Shanghai – Qingdao – Pusan – Mexico (Manzanillo), utilizing one 2,800 TEU-sized vessel. The maiden voyage is scheduled to depart Shanghai on April 30, 2025. RCL will deploy the M.V. Ganta Bhum in this service.

According to an RCL spokesperson, “The RFL will be the new service to connect China and Korea to Mexico and will be the first service for RCL to expand coverage to Latin America.” This strategic move marks RCL’s entry into the growing Mexican market, positioning the company to serve an expanding customer base with reliable shipping solutions.

The RFL service is designed to facilitate smoother trade routes, offering direct access to Mexico’s vibrant economy from key ports in China and Korea. This new offering will not only enhance RCL’s global service network but also support the increasing demand for efficient logistics solutions between Asia and Latin America.

The RFL service will provide competitive transit times, with 23-25 days from China and 21 days from Pusan directly to Mexico’s Manzanillo port.
