As part of its commitment to uplifting communities, PIL Thailand recently visited the Baan Hathairak orphanage in Bangkok to bring joy and support to the children under its care. Established in 2009, Baan Hathairak provides shelter, education, and vocational training to orphaned children, empowering them to lead self-sufficient lives.

On December 7th, 22 PIL Thailand colleagues visited the orphanage, bringing sports equipment, essential supplies, and a cash donation of 30,000 Thai Baht. The team spent a memorable morning engaging with the 36 children through a painting session, a volleyball game, and a delicious lunch.

“At PIL, we focus on more than just connecting markets; we’re dedicated to connecting people and communities,” said Leonard Roberts, General Manager of PIL Thailand. “This initiative reflects our commitment to driving positive change and fostering hope for a brighter, more inclusive future.”

This meaningful initiative exemplifies PIL Thailand’s dedication to creating impactful change and nurturing lives. Through its Future-Focused commitment, PIL takes action to uplift underserved communities by providing tangible support and enduring care.
