OOCL TLP8 Asia–Mexico Express Link

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has introduced a new Transpacific service to reinforce its presence in emerging markets. The Transpacific Latin Pacific 8 (TLP8) service is the latest addition to the carrier’s Asia–Latin America network, aimed at enhancing coverage and speeding up connectivity between China and Mexico.

The TLP8 launch builds on OOCL’s existing service loops TLP1, TLP2, TLP5, and TLP6, and reflects the growing demand for more efficient logistics solutions across the Pacific. The new service provides direct sailings between Chinese ports and key Mexican gateways, offering competitive transit times of 16 days from Qingdao to Ensenada and 20 days from Qingdao to Manzanillo.

Port Rotation

The TLP8 loop will follow the rotation below:

Shanghai – Qingdao – Ensenada – Manzanillo – Ensenada – Yokohama – Shanghai

With the TLP8 now in operation, OOCL continues to expand its regional footprint and deliver faster, more reliable options for customers shipping between Asia and Latin America.
