ONE Thailand Hosts Group of Waseda University Students

5 November 2019: Ocean Network Express (ONE) Thailand recently hosted seventeen Japanese university students from Waseda University. All of the students are seminar students, which means most of them are juniors at their university. and they are studying international logistics in their seminar.

The group of university students visited the ONE Thailand office at Chamchuri Square in Bangkok as a part of a company visit activity. They were given a formal lecture of overall picture and history of ocean shipping industry as well as ONE’s business operations by Mr. Kiyoshi Tokonami, Managing Director ONE Thailand; and Kazuhiro Kuroda, Assistant General Manager, Marketing and Planning Division.

The hosting of Japanese students follows another recent CSR activity from ONE Thailand where the company welcomed twelve Japanese university students, eleven of which are from the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (TUMSAT) and one student from Kobe University in August.

ONE Thailand is very much pleased to welcome possible future-colleagues at the office and delighted that they gained more understanding of ocean shipping industry and ONE’s business.

Not limited to this, ONE Thailand is planning to be continuously involved in further CSR activities in the future.
