OMODA & JAECOO (Thailand), which is under Cherry Automobile, has been the ultimate Chinese exporter of world-class automotive technology, China’s largest passenger-car exporter, and the world’s fastest-growing automotive brand. It has now partnered with DHL Supply Chain, the world’s contract logistics provider, to enhance Parts and Components warehouse and transportation services.

The warehouse, spanning over 1,000 square meters, aims to provide seamless after-sales services by leveraging Chery’s and DHL’s cutting-edge technologies. Moreover, OMODA & JAECOO (Thailand) has proven the readiness of its dealers’ showrooms that feature vehicle display areas, after-sales service areas, maintenance areas, training centres and PDI (pre-delivery inspection) centres. These facilities are now well ready to provide full-scale services ahead of the delivery of the company’s first vehicle to its customers. People interested in the OMODA C5 EV and the JAECOO 6 EV can now contact OMODA & JAECOO dealers across Thailand for a test drive, a reservation, and special promotions.

Mr. Jakkrapan Sikwat, Head of After-Sales Services at OMODA & JAECOO (Thailand) Company Limited, revealed that his company has placed a strong emphasis on constant development to enhance drivers’ experiences by making vehicles “more than cars” and delivering the best products as well as services. In its latest development, OMODA & JAECOO (Thailand) has launched its flagship showroom that spans over 1,000 square meters. Its vehicle display and sales area present various models of OMODA C5 EV and JAECOO 6 EV in various colours. Also integrated into this flagship outlet is a private lounge full of snacks and beverages for customers’ superior convenience and comfort, as well as a Spare Parts system that seamlessly connects to the central team with smart technology. Therefore, Parts from the warehouse can be delivered to any dealer in Thailand within three business. Furthermore, the flagship showroom features a Training Center and a PDI ct, which are ready to deliver full-scale services ahead of the delivery of vehicles to customers.

“Our collaboration with DHL Supply Chain Thailand has brought about a cutting-edge spare parts warehouse that enhances our service capabilities. This partnership, leveraging DHL’s expertise in global automotive warehousing, ensures that parts for all models sold in Thailand are always in stock and efficiently distributed. We offer one-business day delivery in Greater Bangkok and aim to deliver essential components such as batteries, driving motors, and reducer sets to other regions within three business days,” Mr Jakkrapan added.

Mr. Steve Walker, CEO of DHL Supply Chain Thailand Cluster, said, “DHL Supply Chain operates transport and spare parts warehouse management with world-class technology and standards. We utilize the Transport Management System (TMS) to gather in-depth analytical data, along with the Electronic Proof-Of-Delivery (ePOD) tracking system and the Warehouse Management System. This allows us to efficiently manage resources and deliver spare parts within the required time frame. Our business goals align closely with OMODA & JAECOO (Thailand), especially regarding sustainability. Both companies are committed to creating long-term sustainability impact in their operations by installing solar panels at the warehouse and using electric vehicles for transportation.”

OMODA & JAECOO’s spare parts warehouse is located at DHL Bangna Logistics Campus in Samut Prakan Province. Covering an area of over 1,000 square meters, the facility can handle from 3,000 up to 80,000 automotive parts and components per month and is designed for flexibility and expansion as demand grows.

The warehouse has three main zones, namely:

  • (1) Block stack zone that stores big parts such as driving systems;
  • (2) Rack and Shelving zone that stores electrical components needed for replacements based on regular maintenance schedule, etc., and
  • (3) EV Storage zone that stores HV batteries, etc.

An efficient system is in place that allows dealers to communicate their needs to the DHL-managed warehouse via an Application Programming Interface (API), which integrates Chery’s SAP with MAWM (DHL’s API). Dealers, the warehouse, and OMODA & JAECOO can check stock in real time. Thanks to the well-integrated system, orders can be efficiently placed to ensure proper stocking at both dealers and OMODA & JAECOO’s warehouse. Data sent over the system can also be used to predict future demand, paving the way for adequate and efficient stocking. OMODA & JAECOO’s parts and components warehouse is certified based on international standards, namely ISO 9002:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

From today onward, those interested can test drive and book OMODA C5 EV and JAECOO 6 EV at 24 OMODA & JAECOO dealerships nationwide. Comprehensive after-sales services from OMODA & JAECOO (Thailand) will provide them with solid assurances.
