NX Logistics Thailand enhanced its ocean freight consolidation capabilities after relocating and redeveloping its container freight station (CFS) in Bangkok’s Lat Krabang district, with operations commencing at the new site in December 2025.
The upgraded facility, relocated within the same Lat Krabang area, retained the location’s long-standing logistical advantages while introducing significant improvements to equipment, security, sustainability and buyers’ consolidation operations. The redevelopment aimed to further improve the quality and convenience of the company’s less-than-container-load (LCL) ocean freight services.
Strategic Location Supporting Regional and Export Connectivity

Lat Krabang is located approximately 20 kilometres from central Bangkok and around 100 kilometres from Laem Chabang Port, Thailand’s largest international trade port. The district also offers strong connectivity to the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and nearby industrial estates, where many Japanese manufacturers operate.
NX Logistics Thailand said the area’s position outside urban traffic restriction zones enables smoother cargo movements with fewer time constraints. The relocated CFS was developed to function as a more responsive hub, strengthening coordination with surrounding manufacturing and distribution centres.
Enhanced Security and Environmental Performance
The new CFS introduced upgraded security measures, including fingerprint-based access control and 24-hour manned security. Environmental performance was also improved through the installation of solar panels for self-generated power and the deployment of electric forklifts, supporting lower-emission and more sustainable operations.
Expanded Buyer’s Consolidation Capabilities

The redeveloped facility also strengthened buyer’s consolidation (BC) services, allowing NX Logistics Thailand to organise dedicated consolidated ocean freight shipments for specific consignees. Container loading can be customised to align with customers’ downstream workflows, such as loading cargo in the sequence required for unloading, storage or retail display at the destination. This approach helps reduce handling time and improve efficiency at receiving warehouses.
Growing LCL Network and Capacity Expansion
NX Logistics Thailand currently operates its own LCL ocean freight services from Thailand to 14 destinations worldwide. To support rising export demand to India, the company added a service to Delhi in 2025. In addition, the Eastern Seaboard Logistics Center in Rayong Province, which opened in July 2025, now serves as a satellite hub capable of handling LCL cargo, further expanding capacity.
The company said the upgraded Lat Krabang CFS, together with its wider logistics network, positions NX Logistics Thailand to support Thailand’s growing role as a regional manufacturing base and export gateway to India.
The NX Group said it remains committed to developing high-quality global logistics platforms to support customer growth and supply chain resilience.
