Digital Forwarding Service “e-NX Visibility” Now Provides Detailed, Real-Time Status Across Entire Rail Journey
NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. (NX Group) has substantially upgraded the tracing functions of its digital forwarding service, “e-NX Visibility,” specifically for US domestic rail transport. These significant enhancements began rolling out in October 2025, following a previous upgrade in January 2025.
The upgrade addresses the traditional challenges of US rail logistics, where timely and detailed transport information was often limited to a cargo’s current location, hindering prompt response to delays.
Enhanced Real-Time Transparency
Customers using the enhanced “e-NX Visibility” can now directly confirm detailed, real-time rail transport status across the entire process, from loading at the departure station to unloading at the arrival station.
The new functions allow users to search using a container number or a bill of lading (B/L) number to view a shipment’s chronological and detailed event history on the “e-NX Visibility” screen.
The system’s newly available data covers:
- Departure Events: Time from the train’s arrival to the completion of loading at the departure station.
- Transit Events: Arrival and departure times at intermediate stations.
- Arrival Events: The time the train arrives at the unloading station and the time until unloading is completed.
This enhanced transparency permits customers to monitor the status of their cargo accurately and promptly, enabling faster decision-making and improved response capabilities when dealing with rail delays.
