LEO Global Logistics (LEO), a fully integrated logistics service provider, continues to expand its Warehouse and Self-Storage business in Thailand. On June 29th, 2023, Mr Kettivit Sittisoontornwong, CEO of LEO, signed a Strategic Partner Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SK Asset Management, a subsidiary of SENA Development (SENA) , to form a strategic alliance to develop a fully integrated Warehouse for rent business.

With the strength and expertise of the parties combined, the growth of their co-developed Warehouse for rent business will powerfully be energised. SENA is a major Thai real estate developer specialising in finding land for business development and construction. LEO is a leading end-to-end global logistics service provider with over 32 years of industry experience and a service landscape across all major modes of transportation, including ocean, land, and air freight, as well as a broad spectrum of warehousing services both domestically and internationally. Building on LEO’s customer base, the new Warehouse for rent and Self-Storage venture will be located at Sena Fest Community Mall on Charoen Nakhon 16 Road, responding to the increasing demand for storage space from both local Thai and ex-pat residents.

The companies will also be actively exploring potential locations to accommodate the Warehouse for rent business by emphasising places near the water and air fields, along with the area in the vicinity of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) development project.

Mr Sittisoontornwong said, “The collaboration with SENA will potentially boost our Warehousing and Self-Storage services and help expand our customer base and service areas. In addition, as both organisations are leaders in their respective industries, they are suitable and synergetic for each other’s rank. Therefore, we are confident that this relationship will certainly promote the expansion of the Warehousing and Self-Storage business toward a rapid, strong, and sustainable growth.”

Asst. Prof. Dr Kesara Tanyaluckpak, Managing Director, SENA Development PCL., said, “For over 40 years of business development in the real estate industry, SENA continually developed both horizontal and high-rise projects. In 2022, SENA has a plan to initialise the ‘SENA Next’ mission, a new dimension for sustainable growth. One of the three pillars is focused on the ‘Next ERA’, which entails finding partnerships to expand new business opportunities. As a result, we have established a new subsidiary under the name SK Asset Management to provide Warehousing and Self-Storage services, as well as comprehensive management services to meet the business needs of customers.”
