Kuehne+Nagel Five-Year Expo Logistics Contract MCH Group

Global logistics provider Kuehne+Nagel has been appointed as the Official Logistics Partner for MCH Group, a premier international live-marketing and exhibition company. The newly finalized five-year master services agreement establishes a long-term framework for complex, time-critical event logistics across multiple European venues and international trade exhibitions.

Set to officially commence on 1 July 2026, the operational contract covers MCH Group’s primary Swiss exhibition infrastructure at Messe Basel, Messe Zurich, and Beaulieu Lausanne, which collectively represent more than 182,000 square meters of commercial exhibition space.

Managing High-Value Movements for Global Fine Art and Trade Platforms

MCH Group’s diverse portfolio includes highly specialized, internationally renowned cultural and industrial platforms. Most notably, the group organizes the prestigious Art Basel exhibitions held annually across Basel, Hong Kong, Paris, Miami Beach, and Qatar. Additionally, the company manages major national Swiss trade exhibitions such as Swissbau and Giardina.

Logistics operations for high-value contemporary art and large-scale industrial exhibits require precise coordination across international borders, strict adherence to immovable timelines, and secure handling protocols. Kuehne+Nagel’s dedicated Expo and Event Logistics division will take over end-to-end responsibilities for these events. The scope of work includes organizing international freight forwarding to and from the venues, customs brokerage, inventory management, and on-site material handling in close synchronization with exhibitors and event organizers.

Strategic Integration for Operational Consistency

Roman Imgrüth, CEO of Exhibitions and Events at MCH Group, stated that Kuehne+Nagel brings the specific technical expertise, global network reach, and operational reliability required by the company’s major venues. He noted that the long-term partnership will provide exhibitors and organizers with a seamless, high-quality logistics experience across all three Swiss locations, ultimately strengthening the execution of their events.

Joern Schneemann, Global Head of Expo and Event Logistics at Kuehne+Nagel, emphasized that the multi-year agreement reflects significant trust in the company’s specialized handling capabilities. He affirmed Kuehne+Nagel’s commitment to supporting MCH Group, its corporate exhibitors, and regional partners with tailored supply chain services and operational excellence over the next five years.

By embedding its proprietary transport management systems and dedicated on-site personnel within MCH Group’s venues, Kuehne+Nagel aims to establish a standardized, predictable logistics ecosystem that minimizes transit risks and optimizes load-in and load-out workflows for more than 150 events annually.
