IRIS Lines announces Joint Service Agreement with PIL

IRIS Lines announced the successful completion of the joint service agreement with Pacific International Lines (PIL) on Thursday, February 2, 2023. The joint service will connect the Philippines to Singapore and Thailand with its Intra-Asia service. The agreement was signed by Capt. Igal Dafni, Managing Director of IRIS Lines, and Tonnie Lim, Chief Trade Officer of PIL.

According to Capt. Dafni, the new Intra-Asia service, is currently the only Philippine-Singapore-Thailand weekly fixed-day service calling Asian Terminals Inc. (ATI) and will start sailing on February 16, 2023.

The new upgraded intra-Asia service will operate on weekly fixed-day service at the following terminals:

  • Manila (South): arrives every Wednesday and departs every Thursday at Asian Terminals, Inc. (ATI)
  • Singapore: arrives every Monday at the Port of Singapore Authority (PSA)
  • Bangkok: arrives every Thursday at Thai Connectivity Terminal (TCT)
  • Laem Chabang: arrives every Friday at Eastern Sea Laem Cha Bang Co., Ltd. (ESCO)

Through the formation of this partnership, IRIS Lines is confident that the business will be best positioned to cater to the sophisticated needs of the Philippines, both exporters and importers. Hence, it will capture the growth in the Philippines and Thailand.
