Interasia Lines Direct Service India East Africa

Interasia Lines has launched a new direct shipping service, the Mozambique-Jebel Ali-India (MJI) service, connecting West India with key ports in East Africa. The service, which began operations in July, represents a significant expansion of the company’s network into the African continent.

The MJI service operates with a port rotation of Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Mombasa, Dar Es Salaam, Beira, Maputo, Jebel Ali, and Mundra.

Expanding Connectivity to a New Market

The introduction of the MJI service marks a milestone for Interasia Lines, as it establishes a presence in the new market of Mozambique with direct calls at the ports of Beira and Maputo. The service also provides complementary connections between the West Indian market and East African ports in Kenya and Tanzania.

By expanding its coverage in East Africa, Interasia Lines has enhanced its service corridors for the continent, moving beyond its core Intra-Asia and India subcontinent offerings. The company’s continued focus on global service development aims to provide shippers and consignees with more reliable options and diverse scheduling to meet their international market needs.
