Interasia Lines, a leading intra-Asia container carrier, has announced the launch of a new service connecting South China with Vietnam and Thailand. The service, code-named “SVT,” is set to commence around mid-March and will operate on a fixed, weekly rotation.
Interasia Lines will jointly deploy the SVT service with China United Lines (CULines), with each partner contributing one vessel of Bangkok-max design to the 14-day round trip. The first sailing is scheduled to depart from Bangkok on March 14th.
The port rotations for the SVT service are as follows: Nansha – Shekou – Ho Chi Minh (Cat Lai) – Bangkok – Laem Chabang – Nansha.
“This will be another enhanced move for Interasia Lines to introduce a dedicated service product connecting South China with both Vietnam and Thailand markets,” the company said in a statement. “SVT is further testament to Interasia Lines’ commitment to providing more reliable services with additional scheduling options and to better serve shippers’ and consignees’ diverse needs between China and Southeast Asia markets.”
The new service will allow Interasia Lines to offer a more reliable schedule between South China and Thailand by introducing its own vessel deployment. The company remains focused on its long-term pursuit of intra-Asia service-related developments and competitive advantages.
Interasia Lines’ SVT service is expected to significantly boost trade in the region, offering shippers and consignees a reliable and efficient transportation option for their goods.
