On 23 July 2025, Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT), a leading container terminal operator at Laem Chabang Port, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Xiamen Container Terminal Group Co., Ltd. The agreement marks a significant step toward strengthening regional logistics efficiency and supporting mutual market expansion efforts.
The signing ceremony, held at Terminal D, was formalised by Mr. Anat Machima, Chief Operating Officer of Hutchison Ports Thailand, and Mr. Zhipeng Qiu, Business Development General Manager of Xiamen Container Terminal Group. The event was also witnessed by Ms. Amy Tang, Head of Finance at HPT, and Mr. Baocai Hong, General Manager of Xiamen Container Terminal Group.
Under the terms of the agreement, both parties will collaborate on the exchange of smart transportation technologies, the development and application of big data analytics, and initiatives to enhance their respective competitive advantages. This partnership is expected to accelerate innovation within port operations and contribute meaningfully to long-term economic growth across the region.
