Hanseatic Global Terminals Full Ownership Florida International Terminal

Hanseatic Global Terminals and Grupo Empresas Navieras have reached an agreement on the ownership structure of Florida International Terminal (FIT), resulting in Hanseatic Global Terminals becoming the sole owner of the facility.

The agreement was concluded with GEN’s affiliate, Agunsa Universales S.A. (AGUNSA USA), which oversees the group’s port, logistics and towage operations. Following the transaction, Hanseatic Global Terminals has taken full ownership of FIT, strengthening its position in the US terminal sector.

Strategic Location Supporting Regional Connectivity

Florida International Terminal is located at Port Everglades in South Florida, serving one of the largest consumer markets globally. The terminal specialises in handling both containerised and general cargo.

Its location provides direct access to major highway and rail networks, enabling efficient inland distribution and strong intermodal connectivity across the region.

The acquisition forms part of Hanseatic Global Terminals’ broader strategy to expand its global terminal footprint and enhance service capabilities in key international trade markets.
