On March 11, the 700th shipment of the Airbus A320 components for the Airbus Asia final assembly line project, facilitated by COSCO SHIPPING, reached the Airbus final assembly plant in the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone.

This milestone delivery was achieved through a coordinated transportation effort that included barge, sea freight, and an overland transport phase utilizing the fully closed highway within the Tianjin sector.

As the sole logistics provider for the Airbus Asia final assembly line, COSCO SHIPPING has diligently supported the project for nearly 16 years since 2008, culminating in the delivery of aircraft components 700 times.

To guarantee the project’s seamless progression, COSCO SHIPPING has taken a unified approach, designating COSCO SHIPPING Logistics & Supply Chain Management as the central platform for operations and management. In collaboration, COSCO SHIPPING Lines and COSCO SHIPPING Europe have provided synergistic support, ensuring the Airbus Asia final assembly line receives safe, reliable, stable, and efficient logistics services throughout their partnership.
