CMA CGM to Enhance its SAFRAN Service Connecting North Europe with South America East Coast

CMA CGM, the French container transportation and shipping company, has announced an improved coverage of North European ports with its SAFRAN service linking North Europe and East Coast South America. The company will add Bremerhaven, Germany (DEBRV) to its weekly schedule to provide intra-Europe solutions and serve as a direct gateway to/from East Coast South America.

The new rotation will include London, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Tanger, Santos, Paranagua, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio Grande, Paranagua, Santos, and Tanger.

The first sailing, scheduled for February 22, 2024, will include North Europe exports and Southbound voyages with m/v “SAN LORENZO MAERSK” voy. 0EWH7S1MA departing from Bremerhaven. The East Coast South America exports and Northbound voyages will be with m/v “SAN AUGUSTIN MAERSK” voy. 0EWGYN1MA departing from Buenos Aires on February 17, 2024.

This new service is expected to provide customers with more efficient and reliable transportation options, further improving CMA CGM’s service offerings in the region.
