CEVA Logistics broke ground on a new strategic warehouse in Singapore, a move designed to further develop its comprehensive logistics hub in the region. This new multi-customer facility will anchor CEVA’s western Singapore logistics campus, joining existing nearby CEVA sites, including two fully automated warehouses.
Anchoring the Western Singapore Logistics Campus
Located within the established Jurong Industrial Estate in western Singapore, the facility will cover approximately 143,000 square meters, making it one of the largest logistics facilities in the country when fully operational in 2027. CEVA will occupy nearly 40,000 square meters of this site, which will increase CEVA’s total warehouse footprint in Singapore to 370,000 square meters, positioning the company as the second largest Contract Logistics player in the country.
CEVA provides contract logistics solutions across a wide variety of industries, including aerospace, technology, healthcare, luxury and beauty, and consumer and retail. The new warehouse strategically creates a connected network of logistics sites in western Singapore, designed to better serve CEVA customers by leveraging synergies in innovation and technology. This includes connectivity to CEVA’s two wholly-owned, highly automated facilities nearby, which deploy multi-shuttle and picking combination automation systems.
Prioritizing Sustainability and Green Operations
As part of CEVA’s commitment to its “Acting for Planet” initiative, the new warehouse is situated in a building that will achieve Green Mark Platinum certification. The facility is expected to meet most of its power needs and significantly reduce its carbon footprint through a seven-megawatt-peak solar power generation system. Operations at the new warehouse will also align with CEVA’s sustainable logistics strategy, incorporating energy-efficient solutions and recycling projects to promote a circular economy.
