Strategic Healthcare Facility Enhances Product Access and Fulfillment Speed Across the Asia Pacific Region

CEVA Logistics, in collaboration with CooperVision Asia Pacific, has inaugurated a new Regional Service Center in Singapore. This facility marks a significant milestone in both companies’ efforts to enhance supply chain and logistics capabilities across the Asia Pacific region.

The center is strategically located within CEVA’s healthcare hub at the Singapore Airport Logistics Park, a free trade zone adjacent to Changi Airport. This development represents the first phase of a broader infrastructure investment plan designed to strengthen regional leadership and drive operational excellence. By leveraging CEVA’s robust logistics network and specialized healthcare teams, CooperVision is positioned to elevate service standards and support continued growth.

Expanding Product Availability for Eye Care Professionals

CooperVision, a division of CooperCompanies and a world leader in contact lens manufacturing, aims to provide greater choice to eye care professionals and patients. The new Singapore-based center makes up to 7,000 additional SKUs available regionally across its toric and multifocal contact lens portfolio. This enhanced availability ensures that practitioners across Asia Pacific can meet a wider range of patient prescriptions and needs more confidently.

The Regional Service Center is designed to reduce reliance on local stockholding while delivering faster fulfillment on non-stocked items. Centralizing inventory in this manner expands product access, enhances operational flexibility, and drives sustainable cost efficiencies.

Innovative Healthcare Logistics Solutions

To ensure high levels of operational efficiency, CEVA Logistics has deployed a specialized, healthcare-focused warehouse management system. Additionally, the facility features in-house laser marking technology used for repackaging, for which CEVA obtained licensing from the National Environment Agency.

Brunno Matta, Vice President of Contract Logistics, APAC, CEVA Logistics, noted that as the healthcare sector grows in Asia Pacific, the company is expanding its tech-driven and innovative logistics solutions. He highlighted that CEVA’s GDP- and GMP-trained teams are essential in supporting CooperVision’s success and scalability.

Sam Ng, Head of Distribution, CooperVision APAC, stated that the collaboration reflects a commitment to innovation and service excellence. He emphasized that the partnership is focused on building smarter logistics solutions that empower markets and elevate the overall customer experience.
