Samudera has strengthened its project cargo capabilities through a logistics project involving the handling of ammonia converter cargo for Indonesia’s energy and petrochemical sector.
The operation was managed through Samudera’s Lampung-based subsidiary and covered an integrated range of logistics services from origin through to final handling in Indonesia.
Providing End-to-End Logistics Support
For the shipment, Samudera provided ocean freight, customs clearance in Jakarta, ship-to-ship transfer and laydown services in Bontang.
The cargo was imported directly from Denmark as a Full Container Load (FCL) shipment, requiring close coordination across multiple stages of the logistics process.
Supporting Strategic Industrial Cargo
According to Samudera, the project demonstrates its ability to manage complex and time-sensitive cargo movements through integrated logistics solutions.
The company said it will continue strengthening its project cargo capabilities to support customers in Indonesia’s energy, petrochemical and other industrial sectors.
