PSA Singapore (PSA) has announced a record-breaking annual throughput of over 40 million Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) in 2024. This achievement surpasses the previous record of 38.8 million TEUs set in 2023 and reinforces PSA’s position as the world’s largest transhipment hub.
This milestone highlights PSA’s continued growth and operational excellence, demonstrating its vital role in connecting Singapore’s economy to the global marketplace. PSA’s commitment to ensuring resilient, efficient, and sustainable cargo flow underscores its position as a key enabler of global trade and a trusted partner to its customers and stakeholders.
“This record throughput for PSA’s flagship terminal in Singapore is a remarkable milestone and exemplifies our commitment to keeping global trade flowing,” said Mr. Ong Kim Pong, Group CEO of PSA International. “Our success is founded on the trust and partnership we share with our management, staff, unions, customers, and partners.”
