RCL has announced the launch of an enhanced weekly service connecting China to Thailand and vice versa in partnership with T.S. LINES. The service, branded as the “RBS” service, will operate with the rotation of Nansha (CNNSA) – Shekou (CNSHK) – Laem Chabang (THLCH) – Bangkok (THBKK) using 2×1,400 TEU-sized ships.

The maiden voyage is scheduled to depart from CNNSA on October 22, 2024. RCL will deploy the PIYA BHUM in the service, while the partner will deploy another 1,400 TEUS sized ship in the service.

The upgraded RBS service will be the 2nd cut service to improve the frequency and capacity between South China and Thailand. It will provide an additional sailing from RCL’s current service, RBH. Both services will offer direct calls from two main South China ports to Thailand and vice versa.

Customers can expect to enjoy two sailings a week from CNSHK and CNNSA to Thailand, with a competitive express transit time of 4 days from the last port call in South China (RBH: CNNSA or RBS: CNSHK) to THLCH and vice versa.
