CIM Service, in Partnership with Evergreen and Wan Hai, Bolsters China-Southeast Asia Connectivity
Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation has successfully launched a new dedicated shipping route, the China – Indonesia – Malaysia Service (CIM). The service, which became effective on October 31, 2025, is a direct response to the robust growth in the Indonesian market and the surging regional trade demand across the intra-Asia shipping market.
The new CIM service is jointly operated by Yang Ming, Evergreen Marine Corporation, and Wan Hai Lines Ltd., reinforcing collaborative efforts in the region. The partners are deploying a fleet of five vessels with nominal capacities ranging from 2,400 to 3,000 TEU, providing a fixed weekly service with a 35-day round-trip rotation.
The new route establishes direct transportation from North China to Indonesia, significantly enhancing the overall China–Indonesia service network. The CIM service will run concurrent to Yang Ming’s existing CTI service, which connects Central China and Indonesia, collectively delivering more comprehensive service coverage to meet customer needs.
The full CIM port rotation is: Dalian – Xingang – Qingdao – Ningbo – Surabaya – Jakarta – Singapore – Port Klang – Kaohsiung – Dalian.
