SITC and HUANGHAI Shipbuilding Celebrate Naming & Delivery Ceremony of M/V “SITC CHANGDE”

SITC International Holdings Co., Ltd. (SITC) and HUANGHAI Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HUANGHAI) recently celebrated the naming and delivery ceremony of the M/V “SITC CHANGDE” on May 31, 2024. The event was graced by esteemed personalities such as Mr. Yang Shaopeng, Honorary Chairman of SITC, and Mr. Zhao Jianping, Chairman of HUANGHAI. Moreover, Mr. Cheng Guanghui, Ms. Song Yali, Mr. Yu Xiaoning, Ms. Liu Guizhi, Mr. Yan Weiguo, Ms. Geng Yiyi, and other distinguished leaders and guests from relevant parties were in attendance.

During the ceremony, Mr. Ji Wenguang, President of SITC Shipping, delivered a speech on behalf of the shipowner. Ms. Liu Guizhi christened the new vessel “SITC CHANGDE”, while Ms. Geng Yiyi, the vessel’s Godmother, was invited to break the champagne. Additionally, Mr. Cheng Guanghui conveyed his blessings to the new ship, and all the guests extended their wishes for safe voyages and maximum cargo loads.

M/V “SITC CHANGDE” marks the first of 1800TEU series to be constructed by HUANGHAI. Following its delivery, the vessel will soon join the SITC fleet, enabling the provision of improved and more efficient services for customers.
