Pacific International Lines (PIL) is proud to once again contribute to Singapore’s National Day celebrations by sponsoring a total of 102 containers, comprising 91 20- foot GP containers and 11 20-foot refrigerated containers for the 2022 National Day Parade (NDP), which will be held on 9 August 2022.

Mr S.S. Teo, Executive Chairman, PIL, said: “PIL is privileged to join Singapore’s National Day celebrations on 9 August 2022. This will be the 7th year of our support of the NDP since 2015. As a home-grown Singapore shipping line, we identify closely with this year’s theme, “Stronger Together, Majulah!”. Indeed, for Singapore to continue to grow and thrive, we all would need to work together and support each other. For PIL, we are committed to being a key member of Singapore’s maritime sector and will continue to work closely with all our partners to grow a stronger Maritime Singapore. Happy 57th Birthday, Singapore!”

Each year, the NDP organisers make use of the containers PIL sponsors to deliver items and store props and fun packs at the parade venue at The Float @ Marina Bay. This year, a number of the PIL containers are also deployed at five heartland locations across Singapore in support of the celebrations over the NDP weekend on 6 and 7 August 2022.
