MSC Project Cargo Longest Breakbulk

The MSC Project Cargo team has successfully loaded the longest breakbulk cargo in Vung Tau and delivered it to South Korea on the Sentosa-Shikra service that sails weekly. The cargo, which measured 26 meters in overall length, was discharged to develop custom-designed Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) used in power generation.

The team of breakbulk experts in Vietnam utilized their deep local knowledge to deliver the cargo safely and efficiently. This achievement has broken the record and has been seen as a very positive way to conclude 2023 for MSC. It also reinforces the company’s commitment to Project Cargo for 2024 and beyond.

Ben Collins, the MSC Global Project Cargo Manager, expressed his satisfaction with the achievement and said, “A very positive way to conclude 2023 and reinforce MSC’s commitment to Project Cargo for 2024 and beyond.”

MSC is one of the world’s leading shipping and logistics companies, offering a wide range of services to customers all over the globe. The company has a strong reputation for its commitment to safety and efficiency in cargo transportation.
