On November 14, LEO Global Logistics, under the leadership of CEO Mr Kettivit Sittisoontornwong, officially launched LEO COLDBOTIC, marking the introduction of Thailand’s first intelligent reefer warehouse and distribution centre specifically designed for wine storage. Situated in Sahathai Terminal, Samut Prakan, this state-of-the-art facility sets a new standard in the logistics industry by integrating advanced technology and efficient systems.
LEO COLDBOTIC is equipped with cutting-edge automated robotic systems, enhancing wine products’ storage and handling capabilities. The facility has received approval from the customs department as a bonded warehouse, which provides clients with valuable tax benefits. Its strategic location, in close proximity to Bangkok’s business and commercial districts, further solidifies its appeal to various sectors, including wine importers, supermarkets, hotels, and restaurants.
In a statement, Mr. Kettivit emphasized the advantages of the new facility, saying, “LEO COLDBOTIC delivers integrated warehousing and distribution services with intelligent reefer and automation robot systems. It is the first in Thailand to implement a 4-way shuttle automatic system for storing spirit and wine products, maintaining optimal temperatures between 15-18 degrees Celsius for over 1,200,000 bottles.” He added that this innovative centre enhances LEO Global Logistics’ non-freight and non-logistics offerings.
The facility also features a wine-tasting room, providing clients with an elegant space for wine presentations and tastings. It is complemented by a convention room for business discussions. LEO COLDBOTIC has received Distribution Center (DC) certification from the Thailand Board of Investment, underscoring its commitment to quality and service in the logistics sector.
