COSCO SHIPPING Lines’ Durian Express

Early in the morning of April 22, COSCO SHIPPING Lines’ Durian Express, loaded with 135 containers of imported durians, successfully docked at Nansha Port. After berthing, the first batch of containers was quickly unloaded, cleared by customs, released, and transported to Jiangnan Fruit Wholesale Market, marking the beginning of the transportation of import durians in 2022.

COSCO SHIPPING has long been committed to ensuring the supply of fruit, vegetables, and meat. The Durian Express is an important initiative taken by COSCO SHIPPING Lines to fully guarantee the supply of goods for people’s livelihood and ensure six priorities and stability in six areas. The launch of the service means that it takes only four days to transport durians from Thailand’s Laem Chabang Port to Nansha Port. At least four Durian Express liners will depart per week from Laem Chabang to Nansha, Hong Kong, Shekou, and Xiamen, creating a high-density and fast-delivery route for durian transportation at sea for customers.
