Regional Container Lines (RCL) and its partners will launch a new weekly China-Indonesia service, RCI05, on 8 November 2026, expanding connectivity between key Chinese gateways and major ports in Indonesia.
The service will connect Qingdao, Shanghai and Nansha with Jakarta and Surabaya, before calling at Singapore, completing a 28-day rotation.
Expanding China-Indonesia Connectivity
RCI05 will provide coverage across North, East and South China, giving customers direct access to two of Indonesia’s key container ports.
The service will be operated by vessels ranging from approximately 2,800 to 4,300 TEUs, with the maiden sailing scheduled to depart Qingdao on 8 November.
According to RCL, the new service is designed to provide greater routing flexibility and support growing trade flows between China and Indonesia.
Connecting with Regional Markets
The Singapore call following Indonesia will provide onward connectivity to RCL’s wider regional network, extending access to additional markets across Asia and beyond.
