CULines’ MV Racine, the first self-operated vessel deployed on the company’s Korea-China-India (KCI) Service, made its maiden call at HJNC Terminal in Busan, South Korea, on 21 August 2026.
The call marks another milestone for CULines’ KCI network and represents the company’s first weekly service in South Korea operated with its own deployed vessel.
Strengthening Regional Connectivity
HJNC Terminal hosted a welcome ceremony to mark the vessel’s arrival. Wesley Chen, Managing Director of CULines China, attended the event and met with HJNC management to discuss regional market developments and opportunities for closer cooperation between the terminal and shipping line.
The KCI Service connects Northeast Asia with India and Pakistan, while also providing onward connectivity to the Middle East, Red Sea and Mediterranean through CULines’ wider network.
Expanding the KCI Network
Through the deployment of MV Racine, CULines aims to strengthen schedule reliability and provide customers with more efficient connections between major Asian markets and the Indian Subcontinent.
The service forms part of the company’s broader expansion of its regional network and its efforts to provide customers with greater routing options across key trade corridors.
