ShippyPro
A.P. Moller – Maersk has partnered with shipping management platform ShippyPro, integrating its e-commerce parcel delivery services directly into ShippyPro’s multi-carrier logistics software.
The integration allows e-commerce merchants to access Maersk’s international delivery network and parcel orchestration capabilities through their existing shipping workflows.
Streamlined Cross-Border Order Fulfillment
The partnership targets growing operational complexities in e-commerce, such as managing multiple carrier integrations, handling cross-border customs, and maintaining end-to-end shipment tracking.
Key operational features of the integration include:
- Single-Workflow Management: ShippyPro users can select Maersk e-commerce services alongside other parcel carriers without requiring separate software integrations or operational processes.
- End-to-End Parcel Orchestration: Enables merchants to automate labeling, dispatch, tracking updates, and returns management through a unified platform.
- Expanded Market Access: Provides e-commerce brands with direct access to domestic and international shipping routes across major consumer markets.
Strategic E-Commerce Alignment
Helena Garcia, Regional Head of E-Commerce Europe at Maersk, noted that the collaboration aligns with Maersk’s ongoing investment in digital platforms, aiming to make its logistics services easier to access within established software ecosystems.
Francesco Borghi, CEO and Co-Founder of ShippyPro, emphasized that adding Maersk’s delivery network to the platform helps online retailers expand into international markets while eliminating carrier management complexity.
