Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation is set to enhance its intra-Asia market presence with the introduction of its new China-Thailand Express (CTE) service, scheduled to launch in early January 2025. This initiative aims to optimize Yang Ming’s service network between China and Southeast Asia, bolstering its competitive edge in the region.

The CTE service will offer a 21-day round-trip schedule with fixed weekly sailings, providing customers with a more flexible and reliable option for container shipping. Currently, Yang Ming operates four existing services linking China and Thailand, but the new CTE service is expected to significantly improve transportation efficiency and meet the evolving demands of its clientele.

The service will follow a strategic port rotation: Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Nansha, Laem Chabang, Shekou, and back to Shanghai. With this new addition, Yang Ming is committed to delivering high-quality shipping solutions to its customers in the Asia-Pacific region.
