WHALE LOGISTICS GROUP has allied with Chonburi Concrete Product (CCP) to establish ‘Charlie Top Logistics Solution’ to provide Free Zone Warehousing Management Services near Laem Chabang Port and Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) special development zones. With a total area of 22,000 square meters, the facility will accommodate the needs of importers and exporters, transit shipments, E-Commerce businesses, entrepreneurs, and industrial factories.
The joint venture arose from the increasing demand for free zone warehouses, while there is a scarcity of storage space and professional services. In addition, the Laem Chabang and EEC areas are strategic locations for the import-export business, coupled with the Thai Government’s policy to promote Thailand as an investment and production hub for ASEAN.
The new company has an advantage in the availability of land plots in potential locations to develop a warehouse and storage yard. Adding CCP’s expertise in concrete work for construction, it has the construction cost well under control, not to mention the fast timeline for the facility development.
With the readiness and expertise of both founding companies combined, the new venture is confident to respond to the needs of all customer groups and create added value for the company’s significant growth, as Mr. Athit Theepakornsukkasem, Managing Director, CCP, mentioned. “The company has jointly invested with Whale Logistics (Thailand), the parent company of WHALE LOGISTICS GROUP, a leading logistics service provider in Laem Chabang and EEC zones, in establishing Charlie Top Logistics Solution to operate a modern Free Zone Warehouse. The investment value is over THB 400 million.

Charlie Top Logistics Solution plans the construction into two phases and is expected to be completed and begin service in the fourth quarter of 2023. Once operable, they will serve the Thai market as a Free Zone Operator.
