Wan Hai Lines Confirmed Orders for Five 13,100 TEU Vessels

Wan Hai Lines announces an order of another five 13,000 TEU container ships with Samsung Heavy Industries, the contract was signed on March 25th,2022 and the vessels will start taking delivery in 2024.

As part of the company’s fleet improvement plan, in 2021, Wan Hai Lines had ordered thirteen 13,100 TEU new vessels. At the moment, Wan Hai Line operates a fleet of 146 container ships, this new vessel contract is part of the company’s latest fleet renewal plan to ensure that the company is able to maintain competitiveness and support continuous market development. These newly built vessels are energy efficient and meets the requirements of the latest environmental regulations.
