TASCO Berhad, a subsidiary of Yusen Logistics Co. Ltd, has announced the expansion of their warehouse, WPLC (WestPort Logistics Centre), located at WestPort, Port Klang, the main seaport for international freight in Malaysia.
The newly built warehouse has 36 additional loading bays and 26,100 square meters of added warehousing space, bringing the total warehousing space to 55,414 square meters. The facility has multiple temperature storage capabilities ranging from ambient to frozen (-18’C) and is Halal, ISO22000 & 9001, and GDPMD (Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices) certified.
The expansion allows WPLC to handle a variety of cargo, including temperature-sensitive cargo and general cargo such as food, medical devices, and technology. WPLC is now equipped to support cross-docking, local regional distribution, pick-and-pack, and other value-added services.
The facility’s key features include 52 loading bays, a WMS system with EDI integration, a 24-hour CCTV monitoring system, and GDPMD certification. TASCO Berhad is committed to providing the best-in-class solutions and services and delivering world-class customer satisfaction.
