SITC Line, a leading shipping company, has recently made a significant stride towards environmental sustainability by leasing 2,000 TEU inverter compressor energy-saving reefer containers. In a bid to reduce environmental impact and promote worker safety, the production process of these containers has eliminated the use of hot zinc spray and bottom frame bituminous paint, resulting in a substantial decrease in air pollutants emission and physical harm to construction workers.
These eco-friendly reefer containers are coated with waterborne paint and feature DAIKIN’s cutting-edge ZeSTIA inverter compressor reefer, which boasts a 20% energy consumption reduction compared to traditional LXE conventional compressor reefer containers.
SITC LINE has expressed its commitment to the “Green Containers” concept and plans to continuously replace reefer containers with energy-saving and emission-reduction features. Through these efforts, the company aims to fulfil its social responsibilities and demonstrate corporate environmental stewardship.
