Rhenus Air and Ocean is honoured to be the new ‘Team Belgium Official Supplier” to support the Belgian Olympic team on their way to the Summer Olympic Games in Paris in 2024, handling all transport and logistics requirements.
“It’s an honour to support the Belgian Olympic team – so to speak, ‘Belgium’s best’ – by providing logistics services for the Olympic competitions, so they can continuously deliver top performances,” says Mr Frank Roderkerk, the CEO of Rhenus Air & Ocean North-West Europe. “Together, we represent values such as integrity, diversity, and team spirit – and of course, the passion for going for gold,” added Mr Roderkerk.
The responsibilities will consist of the transportation of all sports equipment ranging from bicycles and vaulting poles to sailing catamarans. Transported door-to-door, the gear will be delivered to various competitions globally using road, air, and ocean freight services. Additionally, Rhenus also caters to other events, such as the World Games and the Youth Games, including the return logistics.
