Rhenus High Tech is now a co-shareholder in TENESO, one of the largest cross-border high-tech transport companies in Europe. This is enabling Rhenus to strengthen its existing European network structures for high-tech logistics.
The customers of Rhenus High Tech in Germany now have even better access to high-quality network structures, particularly in countries where Rhenus High Tech has not been directly active up to now. In return, the shareholding in TENESO opens a door so that it can directly use the specialist distribution network of Rhenus High Tech in its important key European market of Germany.
“As a result of our acquisition of the high-tech activities of Simon Hegele last year, TENESO has already used our network in Germany for international value-added concepts. Contact with TENESO has continued to intensify during the course of the partnership,” says Ralph Decker, Managing Director of Rhenus High Tech. “We’re convinced that we’ll be able to add further benefits for our customers as a co-shareholder thanks to our high degree of focus and our clear concentration on our sector and offer genuine value-added for cross-border logistics concepts.”
“TENESO brings together leading service logistics specialists in Europe. Having an established market player like Rhenus High Tech on board, we’re now consolidating our expertise in various market segments. We’ll be able to pool our strengths and create synergy effects in future,” says Udo Scheffler, Managing Director of TENESO.
