OOCL Adds Two New 24,188 TEU Mega Vessels to Fleet

Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd. (OOCL) has announced the launch of its two latest mega vessels, “OOCL Finland” and “OOCL Sweden,” each with a capacity of 24,188 TEU. These eco-friendly containerships mark a significant milestone for OOCL as they become part of the company’s fleet upgrade.

Built by Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (DACKS) and Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (NACKS) respectively, the vessels have been deployed on OOCL’s Asia-Europe service LL1. The port rotation for these vessels includes key stops at Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Yantian, and several European ports.
