Ocean Network Express (ONE) announces that it was awarded the ‘Best Digital Treasury Project’ in TMI Awards for Innovation and Excellence. TMI has been dedicated to promoting best practices and innovations in treasury management by awarding organizations for over 25 years.
ONE was awarded “Best Digital Project” not only for its transformation of three individual treasury departments into a single efficient structure in just 9 months but also by ONE’s determination to employ the latest technologies. This included implementing HSBC’s Liquidity Management Portal and embracing robotic process automation (RPA) which displays global cash positions in a timely manner.
This forward-thinking project, conducted in collaboration with HSBC’s Global Liquidity and Cash Management Business, has enabled ONE to navigate cash management challenges, regulatory requirements, and technological hurdles that the company faces in 44 markets. The award ceremony was held on 30th January 2020 and Toshiaki Ichida. General Manager of Finance from ONE attended to accept the award in London.
