NX Engineering Vietnam, a company under NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC., recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Haiphong Logistics Center (Phase 2) in Haiphong, Vietnam. The ceremony took place on Thursday, June 13th.

Haiphong is a crucial port city in northern Vietnam. It is home to numerous industrial parks where Japanese and other foreign manufacturers have established their operations. The area’s deep-water international port provides convenient logistics access to destinations within and outside Asia, positioning it as the gateway to northern Vietnam.

The Phase 2 centre is an expansion of the Haiphong Logistics Center, which began operations in 2015. The new centre will be completed by the end of February 2025 and will commence operations in March.

To effectively cater to the diverse needs of its customers, the Logistics Center is equipped with constant-temperature storage rooms that can be adjusted for temperature control. Additionally, it features a substantial air-conditioning system designed to manage Vietnam’s high-humidity environment. This will ensure that humidity levels are maintained below 70%, making it an ideal environment for storing high-value-added products such as medical devices and electronic equipment that require temperature and humidity control. With the completion of the Phase 2 Center, NX Engineering Vietnam will have a logistics base with approximately 23,500m2 of warehouse space, significantly enhancing its logistics capacity in northern Vietnam.

As part of the NX Group, NX Engineering Vietnam is committed to further expanding its global logistics network and leveraging its extensive expertise to support customers’ global supply chains.
