MSC is dedicated to serving the evolving needs of its customers with a first-class product meeting their expectations. As such, it is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of a new weekly service, the Palmetto, from Asia to U.S. East Coast.

The new service will be calling Vietnam and Yantian with direct connections, and best-in-class transit times, to the U.S. South Atlantic ports of Savannah and Charleston and New York. MSC will operate the rotation through Panama Canal on the way to the U.S.

This new service will allow MSC to improve the distribution of the cargo flows in its existing network and to improve the schedule reliability for its customers, among all service strings on the trade.

MSC expects to launch this new service from Asia during May, subject to compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Full details of deployment, starting date, rotation, and transit times will be communicated in due course to help you plan your future shipments accordingly.
