MSC, one of the world’s leading shipping lines, has announced exciting changes to its Swan and Britannia services. These adjustments are part of MSC’s ongoing efforts to expand its network and provide customers with more direct port pair connectivity.
The Swan service will be transformed into Swan-Sentosa, creating a new corridor for Eastbound cargoes to and from Southeast Asia. This enhanced pendulum service will now include additional westbound calls in Qingdao and Busan, offering even greater flexibility and efficiency for shippers.
The new rotation for the Swan-Sentosa service will be as follows:
Qingdao – Ningbo – Shanghai – Yantian – Tanjung Pelepas – Felixstowe – Antwerp – Hamburg – Gdansk – Gdynia – Klaipeda – Bremerhaven – Antwerp – Singapore – Laem Chabang – Vung Tau – Busan – Long Beach – Oakland – Busan – Qingdao
Additionally, the rotation of Britannia will be amended to make Hamburg its second port call in Europe. This will result in the following rotation:
Shanghai – Ningbo – Yantian – Vung Tau – Liverpool – Rotterdam – Hamburg – Antwerp – London Gateway – Singapore
These adjustments demonstrate MSC’s commitment to continuously improving its services to meet the evolving needs of its customers and the global shipping industry. With these enhancements, MSC is poised to deliver even greater value and efficiency to its clients in the East-West trade.
