‘LaneXang Express’, a joint venture company between LEO Global Logistics (LEO), Sritrang Logistics, and Bauthai Index, has been successfully awarded a rail-to-rail transport agreement to transport 32 cargo containers from China to Thailand.

This agreement involves collaboration with CRCT Asean International Logistics Sole, a prominent state-owned enterprise in China, for the seamless rail transport of containers in line with the company’s ‘Green Logistics’ concept. Additionally, the company has partnered with LAO Nation Railway (LNR) and Houng Ah Loun Logistics (HAL), a highly promising organization in Laos. This collaboration encompasses customs clearance, coordinating the entry of Chinese trains into the container transshipment area, and offering cargo transfer services between Chinese and Thai trains in the rail-to-rail container transfer zone. Thus, both organizations can manage efficient, smooth, and timely transfer of containers between China and Thailand trains. In addition, the company has also collaborated with SCGJWD LOGISTICS to drive road transformation by using EV Trucks, aiming to minimize the environmental impact of green logistics activities.

Mr. Kettivit Sittisoontornwong, Chief Executive Officer of LEO, commented, “This collaboration enhances business relations in the Southwest Asia region. It is facilitated by the Laos-China railway project, which links the railway network between The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the Pan-Asia Railway Network. These international rail transport routes enable seamless connectivity between Europe and Asia.”

‘LaneXang Express’ is a potential company that offers seamless rail transport services to meet customer needs from first-mile delivery to last-mile delivery, aligning with LEO’s ‘Green Logistics’ concept. This service is expected to enhance the strength and potential of comprehensive rail transportation for LEO, contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
