Stephen Ashworth, Managing Director of Hutchison Ports Thailand and Southeast Asia, attended the 20th-anniversary celebration of Hutchison Ports Thailand at Terminal D, Laem Chabang Port, Chonburi, along with members of the management team and staff. Since the start of operations and services in Laem Chabang in 2002, Hutchison Ports Thailand has handled more than 30 million TEU containers.
The company has established itself as one of the world’s leading terminal operators in digital technology and innovation, including self-driving autonomous trucks, remote control electric quay cranes, remote control electric rubber-tired yard cranes and autonomous operation systems. As a result, Hutchison Ports Thailand has continued to grow and strengthen Thailand’s potential as a hub for sea freight in ASEAN and a sustainable business shortly.
