On 20 April, the new ZIM Mediterranean Premium (ZMP) service operated by ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd (ZIM) started calling at DaChan Bay Terminals.

The new service provides the best-in-class service to the Israel market with a fast transit time to Israel, Turkey and the Black Sea. ZIM’s own network in the Mediterranean will be tailor-made to fit the new structure. It also offers flexibility to handle out of gauge (OOG) and special cargoes.

DaChan Bay Terminals Managing Director Brian Yeung said, “DaChan Bay Terminals and ZIM are long-term partners with close collaboration for over 13 years since 2009. We are proud to be the port of call in Shenzhen for the new ZMP service. The ZMP service enhances our Mediterranean network. Customers could enjoy DaChan Bay Terminals’ high operational efficiency and flexibility and benefit from our extensive feeder connections to over 30 destinations in the Pearl River Delta.”

ZIM deploys nine Panamax vessels, each with a capacity of 4,250 TEUs on the service. Both the west and eastbound routes of ZMP call DaChan Bay Terminals every Wednesday with a port rotation of:

Pusan – Qingdao – Ningbo – Shanghai – DaChan Bay – Port Kelang – Haifa – Ashdod – Istanbul – Yarimca – Port Kelang – DaChan Bay – Xiamen – Pusan
