COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers has strengthened its fleet with the delivery of two new vessels: the 62,000-ton multi-purpose vessel KANGFU in Yangzhou and the GREEN SUAPE in Dalian.
KANGFU is the seventh vessel in COSCO’s 62,000-ton series of multi-purpose heavy-lift ships. Its maiden voyage will serve the China-Korea route, transporting wind power equipment from domestic ports to South Korea.
GREEN SUAPE’s maiden voyage will operate along the Far East – Europe – South America and East route, carrying containers and other goods from domestic ports to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and other destinations.

These additions are part of COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers’ strategy to enhance its fleet and strengthen its “three core and three chains” initiative. By developing a range of multi-purpose vessels like KANGFU and GREEN SUAPE, the company aims to optimize its operations, improve efficiency, and provide superior, safe, and efficient transportation solutions to its global customers.
“The delivery of KANGFU and GREEN SUAPE marks a significant step forward in our fleet expansion strategy,” said a COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers spokesperson. “These vessels enhance our capabilities to transport a diverse range of cargo, including heavy-lift and project cargo, further strengthening our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our customers.”

These new vessels demonstrate COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers’ dedication to providing innovative and reliable shipping solutions, connecting key global markets and supporting international trade.
