COSCO Shipping Block Train

The Hunan-Guangxi block train, carrying 12 containers of ore concentrate, departed from Qinzhou Dongchang Station as scheduled. These cargo containers were imported from Melbourne, entered China through Qinzhou Port, and are expected to arrive at Huaihua North Station in four days. This marks the successful “one-stop” connection of import shipping services by COSCO SHIPPING, leveraging its comprehensive full-chain service after introducing the sea-rail block train for exporting goods from Huaihua to Qinzhou Port. Thanks to the seamless connection between the port and the train, the transportation time has been significantly reduced by approximately seven days compared to the original process. This achievement represents a shift from passive cargo reception to proactive coordination of unloading plans, enabling a comprehensive import and export transportation network that offers “door-to-port” service.

COSCO SHIPPING will always be committed to the “Customer First & Pursuit of Excellence” service principle. It will continue optimising transportation routes, further developing logistics and transportation networks in the western region, and delivering even higher-quality end-to-end supply chain logistics services to its customers.
