CEVA Thailand, a leading logistics and supply chain management company, has successfully completed a three-year project to empower local communities in the northern region of Thailand. The project involved establishing the Doi Wawee Community Rice Mill, providing jobs for 16 people with disabilities, sponsoring the renovation of a community massage shop in Lampang, and creating career opportunities for visually impaired individuals under the Lampang Eye Foundation.
The Doi Wawee Community Rice Mill, located in the Chiang Rai province, is a sustainable rice milling operation that provides employment and income for the disabled community. Through this initiative, CEVA Thailand was able to contribute to the local economy and provide opportunities for those who face barriers to employment.
In addition, the company sponsored the renovation of a community massage shop in Lampang, which created career opportunities for visually impaired individuals under the Lampang Eye Foundation. The foundation provides vocational training and job placements for people with visual impairments, enabling them to be self-sufficient and contribute to their communities.
