CEVA Logistics, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, has unveiled a new organizational structure to enhance its global logistics capabilities and offer customers a seamless experience across various transportation services. The initiative includes integrating Bolloré Logistics into CEVA’s product-focused model following its acquisition by the CMA CGM Group in February 2024.
As a major player in the global logistics industry, CEVA Logistics reported pro forma 2023 revenue of $20.2 billion. Thanks to its workforce of 110,000 employees, it handled substantial volumes of ocean and air freight and extensive warehouse management.
The company’s new structure is designed to streamline operations and ensure a consistent approach to global service delivery. By aligning product teams vertically and consolidating its Air and Ocean operations, CEVA aims to enhance product development and operational efficiency while leveraging technology investments to elevate its services further.
Notably, CEVA has significantly expanded its reach and capabilities since its acquisition by the CMA CGM Group in 2019. The company has made strategic acquisitions, including Bolloré Logistics, to strengthen its presence in key markets and broaden its service offerings.
Mathieu Friedberg, CEO of CEVA Logistics, expressed pride in its new direction, emphasizing its commitment to providing innovative solutions and improving global supply chains. CEVA’s transition to a product-driven organization underscores its ambition to compete among the top players in the logistics industry and deliver unparalleled end-to-end solutions to customers. The company expects to complete its rebranding as one unified brand, CEVA Logistics, by the end of 2024.
