Brenntag and Rhenus Logistics Partner to Launch First Fully Electric Truck in India

Logistics provider Rhenus Logistics and chemical distribution company Brenntag have collaborated to launch their first-ever fully electric truck in India. The vehicle will be utilized to deliver goods to customers in the Bhiwandi vicinity near Mumbai and reduce the carbon footprint of their supply chain system.

The new electric truck will be used for last-mile deliveries, paving the way towards reducing the companies’ carbon footprint and helping their customers achieve their environmental targets.

The first-of-its-kind vehicle was unveiled by Rhenus Logistics and Brenntag India’s Managing Director, Alok Sharman, who expressed his excitement about the journey towards driving positive change and transitioning towards a more sustainable supply chain system. The initiative showcases the companies’ commitment to caring for the environment and delivering responsible business practices.
